Homecoming and Family Weekend will be Oct. 9-11. This is a reunion time for the classes of 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, and 2004, but all alumni are invited to attend the events, even if it is not their reunion year. The full schedule this year includes “5th Quarter” Postgame Event where you will enjoy live music by “The Rockin’ Hollywoods,” grilled meats, salads, sides, 1919 root beer, and desserts. The weekend also includes athletic events, as well as a performance by jazz vocalist Kurt Elling ‘89 and the Laurence Hobgood Trio. The Linnaeus Arboretum will host its annual Fall Fest on Saturday. Enjoy a guided hike through the arboretum and browse its many beautiful flower gardens and tree collections. Bring your kids for a hayride through the arboretum!
