Harold ’50 and Lois Dickhart ’50 Skillrud were both honored at a special Open House and Program at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Bloomington, Illinois, in recognition of the 60th Anniversary of Harold’s Ordination (June 20,1954) and their arrival in Bloomington on July 4, 1954, to begin a 25 year ministry there. Subsequently, they lived in Atlanta, Georgia for 26 years where Harold was Senior Pastor of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and then Bishop of the ELCA Southeastern Synod, before returning to Bloomington in retirement where their three children, their spouses, and nine grandchildren reside,
