First Lieutenant Eric Lewanski, 34 Infantry Division (Red Bulls), Minnesota Army National Guard was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for service in Iraq as part of United States Division South. Lewanski served as an Intelligence Officer during the 12 month deployment to Basra, Iraq. Lewanski is a 2007 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College.
Lewanski was award the Bronze Star by Brigadier General David Elicerio, Deputy Commanding General of United States Division-South (USD-S) on 09JAN10.
