While many of his Eden Prairie students spent their Spring Break in warm and exotic places, Jamie Alsleben spent his break as a “Mystery Reader” in the Kindergarten classrooms of his K-12 alma mater. Alsleben, a Director on the Glencoe/Silver Lake School Board, read Harvey Potter’s Balloon Farm to a captivated audience of kindergartners . This is just an example of how Gusties take on various roles as involved advocates of education across the state.
