After 13 years of high altitude living in Breckenridge, Colorado, we are making my dream come true of having horses on our own property and have bought a ranch in Bayfield, Colorado near Durango. Turning this place into a horse property is taking some work, but will soon be ready. We have a 2 acre pond that reminds us of Minnesota, we back up to 2,500 acres of BLM wilderness area, and we can enjoy four seasons and a maple tree in the yard that turns red in the fall. A little of Minnesota in Colorado.
After 9 years with the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center teaching Adaptive skiing to people with disabilities, I will be able to continue that work with a similar program at Durango Mountain Resort.
Life is good.
