Brit Barkholtz ’12 has joined the staff of ReconcilingWorks in Saint Paul as the 2012-2013 Lutheran Volunteer Corps intern. ReconcilingWorks advocates for the full inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Lutherans in all aspects of the life of their Church and congregations. Brit recently accompanied the staff of ReconcilingWorks to Washington, DC for their national assembly, where they attended over 105 meetings with congresspersons, representatives, and senators, including Minnesota’s own Al Franken.
