Matt Swenson ’06 recently accepted a new position as Communications Advisor to Governor Mark Dayton. In this new position, he is responsible for communication strategy, planning, and messaging.
Prior to joining Governor Dayton’s staff, he served as Director of Communications for the Minnesota Department of Commerce where he advised Commissioner Mike Rothman and Department leadership on communication strategy and served as the commissioner’s chief speech writer.
