 Marilyn Stanonik Carman ’89 writes about her sister: “I have great news to share about my sister, Susanne Degen, class of 1987:

Excerpt of Mayo’s announcement:

…Susanne Degen recently were named vice presidents of operations for Mayo Clinic Health System’s northwestern Wisconsin region. Both were assistant vice presidents in recent months.

Degen received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn., and her master’s degree in business from UW-Eau Claire.

Before joining Mayo Clinic Health System, Degen worked in several clinical roles for North Memorial Medical Center in Minneapolis.

In her new role, Degen will oversee anesthesia; central processing; gastroenterology/endoscopy; general and plastic surgery; oncology; operating room; pulmonology, radiology; respiratory care; sleep medicine supply chain management; surgery center; surgical prep and recovery, including the post anesthesia care unit; and urology.”
