What is your first Gustavus memory?

How friendly Owen Samuelson was during the recruitment process during my senior year of high school.

What was your favorite class and/or professor and why?

John Lammert:  He was a great teacher and invested in me as a person.  He also taught me how to use a microscope properly, something that he reminds me of when I see him on campus.   He also wrote my daughter and I letters of recommendation for graduate school!

What do you miss most about your time as a student?

I miss the camaraderie that Gusties experience on the Hill, whether that is on the sidewalk or the cafeteria.

What brought you to campus the last time you visited?

Homecoming and the great new reunion format.

How has your Gustavus experience most impacted your life beyond the Hill?

My Gustavus experience helped me develop the social skills or perhaps the emotional quotient necessary to relate and connect with others.

What do you most enjoy about being a Gustie alum?

I really enjoy being a part of the Gustavus community and the relationships that have continued to be a large part of my life.
