While in Singapore with the Gustavus Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble tour, I had the chance to catch up with my sophomore year roommate, Emily (Weitz) Christiansen. Emily and her family moved to Singapore last fall, and we hadn’t seen each other since we graduated in 2002! We spent the afternoon catching up and reminiscing on our time at Gustavus, and she brought her family to the concert at the Singapore Botanical Gardens that evening. All it took was for us both to go halfway around the world to meet up again!
