Stephanie Pearson ’92 is a self-employed writer and contributing editor to Outside Magazine in Duluth, MN. A story she recently wrote for Outside magazine was included in the 2020 edition of The Best American Travel Writing, an annual anthology published on November 3 by Houghton Mifflin. In October she also received three Lowell Thomas Awards from the Society of American Travel Writers Foundation: two golds in the categories of Environmental and Travel Service, and one Silver for Travel Journalist of the Year. A fellow Gustie, Aaron Teasdale ’93, earned Honorable Mention in this category as well.
