Rebecca Smith ’01, Associate Professor of Epidemiology at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, was awarded the Presidential Medallion. The highest honor the University president can bestow, Rebecca was awarded in recognition of her leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic.
