Kelli Justesen ’00 has recently been promoted to a newly-created executive leadership position as chief human resources officer (CHRO) for The Opus Group in Minnetonka, MN. The Opus Group® is a family of commercial real estate development, construction, and design companies headquartered in Minneapolis with offices and projects across the country.
As CHRO, Justesen is responsible for leading and managing the strategies and efforts associated with attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining industry-leading talent at Opus. A colleague stated, “In her 11 years with Opus, Kelli has been instrumental in directing and redefining many of the processes, policies, and tools to more fully empower our associates to maximize success in their roles and collectively as teammates.”
Justesen joined Opus in 2011 and has served as vice president of human resources since 2016. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas, Opus College of Business, and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Gustavus Adolphus College. She is also an HRCI-certified senior professional in human resources and a senior certified professional and member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
