Carmen Westerberg ’97 was awarded the 2015 Presidential Seminar Award at Texas State University (San Marco, TX). Carmen is assistant professor of psychology, where she researches memory failures from a cognitive neuroscience perspective. After Gustavus, Carmen earned her PhD in cognitive neuroscience from the University of Minnesota and was a post-doctoral fellow at Northwestern University. She has taught at Texas State University since 2011.
