I am in the first week of teaching a class entitled “Monopoly, Competition & Environmentalism in the U.S. Power Industry” for the Economics & Management Department at Gustavus. The course is based on my experiences as an investment and, later, merchant banker in New York. The course is fully booked — lots of hockey team players and others who probably would have no interest Philosophy, my college major.”
