Steve Wilkinson, head men’s tennis coach for the past 39 years, has announced that he will retire at the end of the current school year. He will retire with the most victories in the history of collegiate men’s tennis in Divisions I, II, III, and NAIA. Tommy Valentini ’02, who has been assistant coach the past three years, will replace Wilkinson. Valentini is finishing his doctoral studies at the University of Minnesota, where he is a graduate teaching assistant and primary instructor of history and philosophy of sport.
