    I worked in Barrow, Alaska and Adak, Alaska this past fall; Barrow is the northernmost city in North America, and Adak is the furthest west city in Alaska in the Aluetian Islands. Here are two pics of me in Barrow while collecting environmental samples.

    Briana Monson Miller graduated from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota with a Master’s of Education, October 2009. She and her husband, Josh Miller, live in Mankato. Briana is teaching her fourth year of kindergarten at Roosevelt Elementary.
