Connect with Gustavus through Reading in Common

Posted on August 2nd, 2011 by

Do you miss having homework? Well the first-year students already have their first assignment and you can join them! Every year, first-year Gustavus students are expected to read a selected Reading in Common Book, which will be discussed during Orientation. The book selected this year is The Wolf at Twilight: An Indian Elder’s Journey through a Land of Ghosts and Shadows by Kent Nerburn. Alumni and friends are encouraged to read the book along with the rest of the Gustavus community. Join the author Kent Nerburn and other Gustie readers for a lecture on the Reading in Common The Wolf at Twilight at Diamond Lake Lutheran Church on Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. This event is free and open to the public! Contact the Office of Alumni Relations at alumni@gustavus.edu or 800-487-8437 with questions.
