It is one thing to travel with a Gustavus music ensemble around Minnesota, but it is a completely different experience to travel with a Gustavus music ensemble internationally. We are proud to say our students have the opportunity to travel and perform abroad. Fresh off of their 16-day, five-country European concert tour with the Gustavus Wind Orchestra, conductor Doug Nimmo, tour manager Al Behrends ’77, and emeritus professor David Fienen will be the February Gustie Breakfast speakers. Doing a tag-team recap of the amazing tour, you will hear from all three presenters about the sights, sounds, and experiences that they along with the students had across Eastern Europe.

The St. Peter breakfast will be held in a campus banquet room in the Jackson Campus Center on Feb. 12, 2014 at 7:30 a.m. Cost is $8 for an individual or $15 per couple. RSVP by calling 507-933-6664 or e-mailing gustiebreakfast@gustavus.edu.

The Twin Cities breakfast will be held at the American Swedish Institute (2600 Park Ave. South, Minneapolis) on Feb. 19, 2014 at 7:30 a.m. Register online at gustavus.edu/forms/february-gustie-breakfast or by calling 800-487-8437 or e-mailing alumni@gustavus.edu.
