Don’t miss this fun-loving and hard-hitting American tribal love-rock musical, HAIR, which will run Feb. 21–23 and Feb. 28–March 2 in Anderson Theatre. Director Amy Seham and Gustie alumna choreographer, Renee Guittar ’12, have been working with a brilliant cast of students in Anderson Theatre all January Term long bringing their own idealism and energy to the stage in this exciting production. First produced in 1968, this iconoclastic anti-war musical is now a classic bursting with unforgettable songs. Since the ‘60s, the Fifth Dimension crooned Aquarius, Three Dog Night rocked Easy to be Hard, and the Muppets did their own thing with Good Morning Starshine! Now it’s Gustavus’s turn. You’ll groove to the music, but you will also see that this show continues to have a lot to say about love, war, money, racism, and many other issues all too relevant today.
Tickets are available on Feb. 7 and cost $9 for adults, $7 for seniors/students. You can purchase tickets online at gustavustickets.com or by calling 507-933-7590.
