“The Other Shore,” written in 1986 by Nobel prize-winner Gao Xingjian (and immediately banned by the Chinese government), is an expressionist exploration of conflict between society and the individual. The Gustavus production features impressive ensemble acting, lively dance movement, and amazing shadow puppetry. Shows are Feb. 19, 20, and 21 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. in Anderson Theatre.
