Arthur Herbert Monson ’45 died 6/16/14 at home in Waconia at the age of 91. Herb had a long career in Global Missions of the LCA. His wife Bonnie Sjostrand Monson ’46 preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Betty, children Mark ’71, Carl x’74, Miriam ’76, and John ’87 as well as a litany of relatives who attended Gustavus including grandchildren John ’02, Luther ’04, Isaac ’04, and Aaron ’06. He was buried at Rice Lake Cemetery of Braham Evangelical Lutheran Church.
