Dean Hyers ’88 and Pete Machalek ’89

Dean Hyers ’88 sold his interactive media company (Digital Café) so he could direct an an independent movie (Bill’s Gun Shop) that got released by Warner Brother’s. Dean then became a spy-trainer, teaching acting to US and Canadian undercover agents at a federal spy school. Women from the Class of 1963 met at the American Swedish Institute yesterday for lunch at FIKA, the cafe at ASI. The group meets once a year for lunch, and had a fun time catching up, giving updates, and had a great cup of coffee.

On May 5, 2012, Bob Wieman’s children gave him a 90th birthday party–it was a smash–75 guests.  Among many good things that happened, Bob was given a CITY OF ST PAUL PROCLAMATION  by Mayor Christopher Coleman.
